Erin Glenn Wines

At Erin Glenn we believe that wine tasting is a very personal experience that is dependent upon many factors, from level of experience to what you had for lunch.  Instead of telling you what we think our wines smell and taste like, we’d like you to tell us!  Remember, all palates are unique and everyone loves something different about every wine they encounter.  Please feel free to ask us questions about where the grapes came from and the process of how they came to be in the bottle – but when it comes to smell, taste and experience, well, that’s up to you!

We have been producing small lots of boutique wines from vineyards in and around The Columbia Gorge for 5 years.  Since their inception, Erin Glenn has grown from a few hundred cases to 5000 cases produced from the harvest of 2007.

Erin Glenn has expanded its distribution to include almost all of Oregon, SW Washington, Southern California, & Nevada with more states to follow soon!

Many of Erin Glenn wines are available in limited production… call the winery for current inventory on your favorite Erin Glenn wines!

2006 Dolcetto “Dylan’s Reserve” Columbia Valley, Washington - $31. SOLD OUT

Winemaker’s Notes: Traditional wine from the Piedmont region of Northern Italy, Dolcetto means “little sweet one” and is considered everyday lunchtime wine in its native land. We could drink the Dolcetto everyday too! Our Dolcetto is medium-bodied and packs concentrated fruit and healthy tannins to produce ample structure and flavors. A rare variety for the Northwest ~ only 72 cases produced.

2006 Tempranillo, Columbia Valley, Oregon - $27. SOLD OUT

Winemaker’s Notes: Originally from the Rioja region of Spain, this noble grape has found a foothold in the Northwest. Only a few acres are planted locally and the wines and winemakers are maturing together. Our first release of Tempranillo, this wine is aromatic, and fruit-forward with just a hint of earth tones. Look for Tempranillo to be a standout! Only 120 cases produced.

2006 Threemile Bordeaux Blend. Columbia Valley, Or. $24

Winemaker's Notes: Using fruit from Threemile Canyon’s oldest and youngest vineyards, we fashioned this wine in the traditional Bordeaux style. Threemile combines Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petite Verdot, and Malbec to make a hearty, robust red ~ layers of fruit, tannins and terroire will compliment hearty fare.

2005 Power Block Cabernet Sauvignon Columbia Valley - $25. SOLD OUT

Winemaker’s Notes: Dense and rich, this ’05 Cab has evolved into a very pleasing wine. 5% Merlot gently rounds out the tannin structure. Look for this wine to mature for the next 5-7 years. Drink Now! Save some!

This Barbera, named for another daughter in the Erin Glenn clan, is bold and smooth with balanced acidity and structured tannins. 15% abv... Yummy...

2005 Power Block Syrah Columbia Valley, Oregon - $26.

Winemaker’s Notes: The 2005 Syrah shows how well this site is developing. Drink back~to~back with an ’04 or ’03 (or ’02 if you still have some!) and see how the complexity and depth have evolved. Syrah from the Columbia Gorge will soon be a benchmark wine for the Northwest.

2005 Blind Dog Estate Syrah Columbia Valley, Oregon - $40. SOLD OUT!

Winemaker’s Notes: What did I just say about Syrah? Well, this vineyard has produced 3 stellar vintages! The ’04 (48 cases), ’05 (125 cases) and the ’06 (in the cellar till fall of ’07) have been simply astounding. Sited on an old prune plum orchard which we discovered beneath a 40’ pine forest canopy, this jewel of a vineyard holds tremendous potential. Drink some and see what we mean! “Beware Blind Dog” reads the sign – really, we promise it exists!
